Not necessarily. If you're brand new to Claude, the Setup Kit is a great starting point before booking a 1:1. If you've been using Claude but feel like you're not getting great output, that's exactly what this is designed to fix.
Claude Projects work on both the free and Pro plans. The free plan has usage limits that may affect how much you can do in a single session. For the 1:1 build session, having Pro is helpful but not required. We can work around the free plan if needed.
The build session is 60 minutes. The handoff session is 45 minutes. Most of the heavy lifting happens before we meet. I review your intake form and prepare your project structure so we spend the session building, not explaining.
After booking, you complete a business onboarding form that covers your offers, your audience, your voice, and how you work. It takes about 15 minutes. That form is what I use to build your Business Brain before the session starts.
The monthly retainer can be added after either the Starter or Growth package. There is no obligation to continue after the initial build is complete. Most clients add it when they launch something new or when their business shifts and they want their Business Brain updated to match.
